Yowhan Son

Yowhan Son is a professor in the Division of Environmental Science and Ecological Engineering at Korea University, Seoul, Korea. He received a M.S. degree in forest soils from Colorado State University (1988) and a Ph.D. degree in forest ecology from University of Wisconsin-Madison (1991). His research interest is production and nutrient cycling in forest ecosystems. Current research projects focus on changes in carbon cycling to climate change and forest management practices, and examine seed germination and seedling growth after open-field artificial warming and precipitation control treatments.
