Minna Turunen

Dr Minna Turunen is a senior scientist in multidisciplinary global change research at the Arctic Centre of the University of  Lapland. She has got Master’s degree in biology and PhD in ecological botany at the University of Oulu. She has published over 30 peer reviewed papers and book chapters. Minna’s main interest has been in studying the impacts of global change on  boreal and subarctic  vegetation. Her recent studies focus on the responses of reindeer pastures and herding communities to different land uses and changing climate.
